Literary Legs
Recently, I started writing again. I wrote for a while after Dad died but my thoughts were a little jumbled and my writing read like a ritalin deprived 8 year old with an advanced vocabulary. I've started a fiction thing. I'm not calling it a novel yet; maybe after a little development. Krisi said I should post my firest chapter to see what folks think about it. Maybe later. I've also started to dabble in some poetry. The thing about poetry is that most of the stuff out there.......well, I don't get it. And most poets are tree-hugging kooks. So, right now I'm just a psalmist. We'll see where that goes. Anybody know a literary agent?

Advice from a fellow aspiring author...DO NOT POST ANY OF YOUR UNPUBLISHED WORK ONLINE. You have no way of protecting it from crafty thievery!
If you would like feedback during the rough draft phase, e-mail Word documents of your chapters to trusted eyes...but even that could be intercepted.
When I'm back at my home computer, I'll shoot you some links to sites for authors-to-be. They are helpful...just can't remember them off hand.
Wow. I'd be interested to read what you've got so far...assuming that my eyes are "trusted."
That's really impressive. I don't do fiction...I'm just not creative. And poetry??? Ha! Forget it! That'd be even harder for me!
Good luck w/the stretching of the literary legs! E-mail me sometime! Haven't seen you in FOREVER! Much love!--mmlace
I'm a good reader :) I'd love to read what you have. Oh, and a tip, I find that gummy bears get my creative juices flowing. Just a thought...
